This coffee comes from 90 members of SOPACDI, an organization of more than 5,600 farmers located near Lake Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo. SOPACDI was founded in 2003 by Joachim Munganga, a farmer himself, to provide service and market access for smallholder farmers in the remote highland areas where coffee flourishes. This particular coffee was processed at the Birambo microstation, and tastes like sweet lime, cherry cola, and creme brûlée.
