Ninety minutes south of San Jose you will find the Los Santos growing region, home to Hacienda La Minita. With exportation under the La Minita banner beginning in 1985 this is one of the earliest coffees to be sold as “single estate”. Although there are 680 acres of coffee in production only 23 of every 100 pounds of cherry are selected for the La Minita label.
